Endless Legend Community Patch

The Endless Legend Community Patch (ELCP) is a major mod/patch by community member LeaderEnemyBoss that fixes many bugs, modifies the UI, make balance changes and attempts to improve the AI. More information and the download link can be found on the official Amplitude forums here.

Installation

ELCP makes significant changes to the game and cannot be installed from the Steam Workshop. Full installation instructions can be found on the forum page.

Alternate Mac Installation Instructions

macOS users can use the Terminal to greatly simplify the installation process:

1. (Optional) In Steam, Verify Integrity of Game Files to reset the game to its original state.
2. Download the Mac version of ELCP. The file should have a name of the form ELCP_(version)_Mac.zip.
3. Move the archive to an empty folder.
4. Open a Terminal and use cd to change the current directory to the folder with the ELCP archive.
5. Run the following commands:

unzip ELCP*.zip
rsync -av Public/ ~/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Endless\ Legend/EndlessLegend.app/Contents/Public/
rsync -av Resources/ ~/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Endless\ Legend/EndlessLegend.app/Contents/Resources/

The rsync command should output a list of files that it installed, roughly 250-300 files in total. At this point installation should be complete. If ELCP was installed correctly, on the main menu in the bottom left corner, the displayed version number should be the current ELCP version along with the phrase "Community Patch ...".

ELCP Vanilla Balance

Users that want ELCP bug fixes but do not want ELCP's balance changes can install the ELCP Vanilla Balance mod.
