Pillage
An
Era I technology which enables the Pillage army action and unlocks two accessories. The
Forgotten start with this technology unlocked.
Lore
Sometimes, using the enemies infrastructure against them is better than destroying it. Well-trained units are expert at siphoning Dust, resources, and other useful items from enemy sites.
Mechanics
Pillage is an army action that deals
siege damage to regional buildings of other empires (watchtowers, defensive towers, extractors, and pacified villages). When the building's
fortification is reduced to 0, the pillaging empire will gain
dust and a reward based on the structure that was pillaged, and also disable the building temporarily (
9 on Normal Speed). It is not possible to pillage a building belonging to an empire allied, or at peace with, the current empire.

ELCP
ELCP makes various changes to promote pillage-focused gameplay. Primarily, a unit's
siege damage is doubled for pillaging, but buildings also recover twice as quickly after being pillaged. This makes pillaging faster but also less harmful for the pillaged empire.
